Two people who allegedly broke into a South Toowoomba motel walked away mostly empty-handed, and were arrested a short time later in the same suburb.
Police will allege a man and a woman entered the James St business after smashing in its door about 7.30pm Friday.
They stole a small amount of cash and fled the scene in a stolen 2008 Hyundai Getz, which was allegedly stolen from Kearneys Spring earlier that day.
A 38-year-old Moree man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit and dangerous drugs.
He was expected to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday.
A 33-year-old Harristown woman was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit and possess utensils.
Her case will be mentioned again in court on September 4.
