The AFL trade period is over, which of course means new players and partners to be added to SA’s sporting and social radar.
You’ve heard all about the big names joining the Crows and Power next season, including stars such as Jack Lukosius, Alex Neal-Bullen, James Peatling and Isaac Cumming.
But let’s go behind the scenes and meet some of their glamorous better halves as they prepare to make their way to Adelaide for the 2025 season.

Partner: Jack Lukosius
A Gold Coast fashion designer and influencer, Ms Nicholson and Lukosius have been dating for less than a year, and the couple seem smitten with each other.
They made a splash at the Suns’ best and fairest night last month, posing arm-in-arm on the red carpet and looking cosy tableside.
Ms Nicholson is co-founder of Australian label, Amelie Teje, a womenswear brand launched in 2020, which is focused on versatile, sustainable pieces. Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey is among the label’s biggest fans.
Effortlessly stylish, she’s also a regular traveller, posting snaps from trips to France, Spain and Asia over the past 12 months.
At this stage, it’s still unclear if Ms Nicholson will be making the move to Adelaide with her beau or if the couple will be doing long-distance.

Maddi Clark admits it was a “shock” when Port Adelaide came calling during AFL’s trade period, eventually securing her partner, crafty forward Joe Richards, as part of the Dan Houston deal.
“The interest from Port was a shock at first, we never thought this would be where his football career went,” she told The Advertiser.
“To be recognised and wanted by Port was surreal.”
But Ms Clark said the couple, who met in high school and have been dating for seven years, are thrilled to be making the move to SA.
“Very excited for the move, we have always looked at Adelaide as an option so it’s exciting to take the next step,” she said.
“I’m keen for a slower lifestyle and to live near all the beautiful beaches and wineries.”
Currently working in an admin/marketing role at Marshall White Real Estate, Ms Clark, 23, is originally from a small town called Wahgunyah, in Victoria, before moved to Wangaratta in 2021 to live with Richards.
“Dating a footballer can be a bit of a roller coaster,” she said.
“It’s a fun lifestyle to be apart of but you definitely ride the highs and lows with them.”
Ms Clark said she will finish her job in Victoria and make the big move to Adelaide in the new year.

Originally from Adelaide, Ms Resnais met Atkins during the midfielder’s first stint in SA with the Crows.
The happy couple have since welcomed a gorgeous baby daughter, 10-month-old Daisy.
But after four years on the Gold Coast, Atkins has revealed they were keen to return home and spend more time with Ms Resnais’s family.
“When I was back here in Adelaide, I met my partner Georgia, so all her side of the family is here. We’re just so looking forward to immersing ourselves in that family life,” Atkins told PAFC.com.au.
“We didn’t have anyone up on the Gold Coast as well. So another reason why I jumped at the opportunity to come back, we’re really looking forward to getting our little one Daisy amongst her family. So it was just another draw card to come here.”

Cumming’s move to the Crows is a homecoming for his fiancee Mia Young, who previously lived in Adelaide with her family.
Originally from the UK, Ms Young’s father is Neil Young, a former professional soccer player who started his career at EPL side Tottenham Hotspur before playing over 500 matches for AFC Bournemouth. Upon retirement, he relocated with his family to SA, where he has become a respected soccer coach and founder of the Neil Young Football Academy.
Ms Young, 25, and Broken Hill boy Cumming, have dated for almost six years, and became engaged in September. The star half-back flanker popped the big question in a romantic proposal by the water in Sydney.
“Holy sh** balls, I’m a Fiancé. Thank you for making my dreams come true @isaaccumming,” Ms Young posted on Instagram.

This glamorous model has been in the news this year, as she chased her dream job as a flight attendant.
A social media influencer, Ms Becirevic moved to Dubai about three months ago to start training as an “hostie” with Emirates Airlines while Soldo remained in Adelaide with the Power.
But she’s gave up the globetrotting role to return to Adelaide – for the time being.
“I honestly just hated long distance – it was so-so hard, and missed Australia so much,” Ms Becirevic shared with her 66,000 followers on Instagram.
“Like it’s a great way to meet so many different people and have a bit of fun. If you wanna travel it’s a great way to do that. But it’s definitely glamorised a lot online.
“For me personally, I was super homesick and found the job super isolating.”
The news came just days after Soldo asked for a trade away from Alberton to Melbourne club, St Kilda.
But Ms Becirevic – who earlier this year admitted that living in Adelaide had been a “struggle” – said she played no part in Soldo’s impending move back to Victoria.
“I’m honestly fed up with this ridiculous narrative that keeps circulating,” she wrote on Instagram. Soldo has since decided to stay in Adelaide.

Rachele broke hearts when he posted a photo of himself alongside the stunning brunette before the couple attended the Crows’ best and fairest night in 2023.
“Debut” he captioned the snap, causing several of his followers to express their dismay.
While little is known about Ms Condo, it’s understood she’s a model signed with Adelaide Artist Management.
This off-season, the couple enjoyed a romantic trip to Italy, soaking up the sights in Rome – including the famed Colosseum, Pantheon and Spanish Steps – along with stops in Milan, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii.

Her feed includes cute doggo pics, glamorous shots of her and her partner Ollie Wines, who was 2021’s Brownlow Medallist, and stunning shots of her interior design work.
Ms May has previously told The Advertiser dating a footy player is “no different from dating anyone else” and the term “WAG” is “very outdated.”
“It implies that’s all we are, just girlfriends and wives and that we don’t have our own careers and pathways,” she said.
“We certainly don’t refer to ourselves as WAGs in Adelaide.”

“I love all things fitness, more specifically boxing and pilates,” she wrote on Instagram.
“When I’m not in the gym shouting at you to punch harder or to do more burpees, I am often spending time at the beach and hanging out with friends, whether that be on a nice long walk or having a cheeky arvo wine.”
She moved to Adelaide just over three years ago and is often seen supporting Worrell.

Among the 150 guests were Port stars Jack Lukosius, Allir Allir and Travis Boak, while former AFL chief executive Gill McLachlan – her godfather – was also in attendance.
The stunning nuptials came about five months after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Audrey, in late May.
Ms Packer is one of the daughters of Seb Packer, managing director of Packers South Australia, a manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors, as well as the founder of TreeClimb.
She graduated last year from the University of Adelaide with a degree in psychological science.
