Veteran Crow Taylor ‘Tex’ Walker and his wife Ellie have welcomed the newest addition to their growing family – a baby girl.
Tex shared the news to social media on Thursday evening, introducing “daddy’s little princess” Harriet ‘Hattie’ Rose Walker to the world.
“Welcome to the world darling! You are dad’s little princess today & always,” he wrote.
“Ellie you are an absolute star, I love you.”
Ellie also shared her own post, writing: “We are so in love with you darling Hattie.”
Harriet joins older brothers Louis, born in 2021, and Hugo, born in 2019, in a growing cadre of children at the Adelaide Crows.
Teammates, friends and fans flooded to congratulate the couple – including club mates Sam Berry, Matt Crouch and Ebony Marinoff, Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald, Geelong star Tom Hawkins and former Crows AFLW player Sarah ‘Tex’ Perkins.
In 2018, the couple lost their first child late in pregnancy, prompting outpourings of support from the football community.
The Walkers announced the pregnancy news just last month, just days before teammate Rory Sloane and his wife Bel announced they were expecting their newest addition.
