A mother of six with a drug history has faced court after she was busted in a late-night sting in Central Queensland.
Shayna Maud Gloria Doyle, 27, pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on November 13 to three counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Merrilyn Hoskins said just after midnight on September 8, Doyle was a passenger in a vehicle that police stopped at Gladstone for a search.
Sergeant Hoskins said during that search, police found a tomahawk on the back seat. There is no suggestion it belonged to Doyle.
The prosecutor said officers found Doyle in possession of .1g of methamphetamine, .75g of GHB and .81g of cannabis.
The court heard that Doyle had a two page criminal history and she was last dealt with in the Gladstone court in August for offences including drug offences where she was placed on probation and fined.
Solicitor Bianca Wieland said Doyle was a stay-at-home mother of six who was remorseful for her actions.
Magistrate Mary Buchanan placed Doyle on 15 months’ probation and convictions were recorded.
