Police investigations are continuing one year after a man was found dead following a shed fire at Pacific Haven.

About 1.35am on February 18, 2022, emergency services attended a fire at a shed which had been the home of 50-year-old Damian Ramsay, at Pacific Haven Dr on the Fraser Coast.

A subsequent search located Mr Ramsay’s body.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Mr Ramsay’s death later revealed that power tools were stolen from a shed situated around 60m from the residence between 2pm on February 17 and 1.35am on February 18.

It was not known if the theft of the tools and Mr Ramsay’s death were connected.

A police spokesman confirmed investigations were ongoing.

“There’s no further information at this time,” he said.
