Two injured after cement truck and ute collide at Dundowran

Two men have been taking to hospital after a collision between a cement truck and a ute left one person trapped.

Two men have been taken to hospital after a collision between a cement truck and a car in Dundowran on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said there had been a collision between a car and a truck about 6.45am on Pialba-Burrum Heads Rd.

The truck driver was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in the wake of the crash while the driver of the ute was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted by emergency services.

He was taken to hospital in a stable condition but with a serious head injury, a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said.
