Woman suffers lacerations to leg after dog attack in Chinchilla

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was bitten on the leg by a dog on the street near the Chinchilla CBD. Find out more.

A woman in her 50s has been taken to Chinchilla Hospital after she was bitten on the leg by a dog.

Queensland Ambulance crews reported the woman had received a large laceration to the back of her lower leg, but the bleeding was minimal.

The attack occurred just over the overpass on Railway St near the Club Hotel Chinchilla, with witnesses suggesting the attack may have come from her own dog.

The details surrounding the attack remain unknown.
