Mocha & Lime

Contemporary$$

The plumbing and painting's done and the streetscape's complete, so finally Mocha & Lime looks lived-in, but certainly not worn-out. They've ditched table menus and gone for the Great Wall of Chalkboard, spruiking solid breakfasts of parmesan-laced scramble, plump BLTs, and specials of saganaki with a simple salad, served with local Fruition sourdough- something for everyone, really. M&L really hums on Saturdays, with families staking out a brown couch with some house-baked muffins, couples browsing the books for sale while their juice is squeezed, and empty-nesters corralling for coffee outside. Low-key live music is a weekend mainstay.
