Henri Marc
Contemporary
Beside a park with palm trees, this new cafe wows with friendly, attentive service and innovative food that is the perfect antidote to nearby Penrith Plaza. The retro fit-out features exposed timber, brick and steel, but the chairs are comfy as diners tuck into jaunty duck egg soldiers or an oversized jar of tapioca pudding laced with coconut, pineapple and pistachios for breakfast. At lunch, the pork belly with apple and red cabbage slaw is a winner, as is the beetroot and goat’s curd salad. Finish with fresh-baked muffins washed down with Rueben Hills coffee.
