Green Bamboo
Vietnamese$$
If it's a robust, authentic Vietnamese eatery you seek, this isn't it, but everything is super fresh with an emphasis on presentation. While the menu is drawn from various south-east Asian cuisines, the Vietnamese roll-your-own ricepaper rolls, with sugar cane prawn, pork or chicken, work particularly well, and specials such as marinated quail and whole snapper are highlights. Staff are courteous, but don't be too surprised if requests for fresh chilli aren't met - no problem for chilli-phobes, who'll be content with the restrained flavours.
