The end of financial year is almost here, and with it, huge deals on home entertainment.

We’re currently seeing massive discounts on top TVs by Samsung, LG, Sony, and more, making now a great time to upgrade.

So whether you’re looking for a big screen for your home cinema or a budget model for the kids’ bedroom, you’re bound to find a deal to suit.

To help you out, we’ll be rounding up all the best TV deals we can find from now until the end of June.

One early deal we’ve spotted is a huge $1000 slashed off the cult favourite Samsung The Frame 85” QLED 4K Smart TV, $3,999 (down from $4999).

One five-star reviewer on the Samsung site said the TV provides a “spectacular experience” when streaming movies and sports, while another said it’s “more than a TV, it’s a work of art”.

“I’ve got to say it’s one of the most stylish TVs I’ve ever seen. When it’s off, it genuinely looks like a piece of framed artwork thanks to the matte display and slim wall-mount design,” they raved.

Another said, “This has a great video quality and the moving images look almost life like and makes you feel like you are in the middle of the scene.”

We’ve also spotted $1000 off 55” LG OLED evo G4 4K Smart TV, $4,199 (down from $3,199), $2000 off 83” OLED S90D 4K Smart AI TV $5,999 (down from $7999), and $600 off Sony 75” BRAVIA 3 4K HDR Google TV 24, $1695 (down from $2295).

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LED, OLED AND QLED?

LED TVs are typically the most budget-friendly TVs you can buy, however, they tend to have lower colour accuracy and lack the true blacks found in OLED TVs, resulting in less contrast.

OLED TVs are meanwhile more expensive than LED and QLED TVs – but, if you’re after exceptional picture quality, OLED is the way to go. OLED TVs have individual pixels that are self-lit, producing perfect blacks and incredible contrast.

QLED sits somewhere in between the two, using traditional LCD panels lit by LEDs with an added quantum dot layer. They produce a wider range of colours and offer better overall brightness compared to OLED. However, they also have less accurate black tones.

Essentially, if you’re looking for the best picture quality available, OLED TVs are your best option. If you want a brighter display that’s more budget-friendly, QLED could be a better choice. If you’re looking for value and a wide range of screen sizes, LED models are meanwhile worth a look in.

WHEN ARE THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES 2025?

The majority of the end of financial year sales will kick off from 1 June. However, some retailers have started their sales early and are already slashing prices on top tech.

HOW LONG DO THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES LAST?

The length of each sale differs from retailer to retailer. Some will run their deals all throughout June, while others may wait until the final week of the month to drop their sale. Most sales typically end on 30 June.
