EOFY sales 2025: Best early laptop & PC deals in Australia

Some of the biggest brands including Lenovo and HP have already started dropping incredible deals ahead of tax time.

If you’ve been looking for the right moment to upgrade your laptop, the time has finally arrived.

The end of financial year is just around the corner, which means retailers are rolling out huge offers on laptops, monitors and two-in-one devices.

Better yet, if you intend on using any of these new items for work, you may be eligible to claim them as a tax deduction.

Some of the biggest names have already started dropping prices, including HP which is offering up to 50 per cent off – plus an extra 10 per cent off when you use the code EOFY at the checkout.

HP’s also offering some of the biggest deals right now, including a monstrous $1808 off the HP OmniBook 7 Aero – which has dropped from $3597 to $1789. Now half price, this AI-powered laptop features generous storage space, as well as AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors and AMD Radeon 800M graphics for a great gaming expeience.

You can similarly save $1100 off the “small but mighty” HP Pavilion Aero 13.3” Laptop (now $1399, down from $2499). Shoppers say it’s “super lightweight” and a “great value” laptop that’s perfect for travelling.

WHAT IS THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR?

In Australia, the financial year starts on 1 July and ends on 30 June the following year. The period is often used by businesses to assess their financial performance and prepare for tax filing.

As the 30 of June approaches, many businesses also discount and clear out older stock before the new year begins, giving shoppers a chance to pick up pricey tech items for less.

WHEN ARE THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES 2025?

The majority of the end of financial year sales will kick off from 1 June. However, some retailers have started their sales early and are already slashing prices on top tech.

HOW LONG DO THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES LAST?

The length of each sale will differ from retailer to retailer. Some will run their deals all throughout June, while others may wait until the final week of the month to drop their sale. Most sales typically end on 30 June.
