The Source: Diehard Saint fan, Senator Jane Hume commits ultimate act of footy sacrilege
You can change your partner or change your religion, but there is one unspoken rule many Victorians dare not break that is viewed as the ultimate act of footy sacrilege – changing teams.

Putting the squeeze on Victoria’s movers, shakers and headline makers
There is one unwritten rule that applies to all Melburnians.
You can change your partner, change your religion but you never, ever change your footy team.
So it was with some disillusionment that The Source spied Liberal Senator Jane Hume, a diehard St Kilda supporter apparently, wearing a Hawks scarf at an announcement to upgrade Glenferrie Oval.
Some may argue this might even be worse than crossing the floor in the parliament.
In her defence, Senator Hume posted on Facebook: “P.S I’m still a saints fan, let’s just ignore my hawks scarf”.
Hmm, not sure what Albo will say about this.
He is a Hawks supporter, except when he’s in Sydney when it’s go Swannies!
Sheesh. Those who say sport and politics should never mix really do have a point.
