A raid of a Mernda share house has allegedly uncovered a heap of drugs in a room guarded by a passcode. And a man living there has allegedly since confessed to selling a range of drugs.

Man escapes from police, caught by passers-by

Passers-by came to the rescue in Heidelberg West when a man managed to get away from police, even after being capsicum sprayed and hit with batons. Police had found him acting suspiciously in a car wash.
