Former WAG Nadia Bartel has made a major property market move, buying a stunning family home for more than $3 million.
Bartel and her ex-husband, Brownlow Medallist Jimmy Bartel, sold the exquisite St Kilda West home that they had shared during their high profile marriage for $3.915m in October last year.
That same month Bartel is believed to have found her new digs and moved quickly to secure the gracious federation style, three bedroom property in an inner city suburb south east of Melbourne’s CBD.
Similar to the St Kilda home she parted with last year, the house is rich with original period detail and has a Tessellated tiled wrap around porch and leadlight window features.
A real estate source said the house sold off market for $3.15 million just days after being listed.
Bartel took to social media yesterday confirming her move.
“And yep, this is my new house. Moved in November last year, still barely any furniture but I am so excited to make it my own in time. All I do is look at interiors pages now (obsessed) and my Pinterest board is looking good,” she posted on social media.
The Bartels separated in August 2019 after five years of marriage. They have two sons.
Jimmy is in a relationship with Lauren Mand while Nadia has been linked to personal trainer Nathan Brodie.
A fashion and beauty influencer, Bartel and her sister Michelle have cleverly developed and grown the successful Henne fashion label.
She has long spoken of her interest in real estate and property and hosted the series Million Dollar House Hunt.
In an interview last year to launch the series on 9Life, Bartel said she got her passion for real estate from her family.
“I think it has probably just come from my dad because he’s been involved with the property market for the last 30 years or so,” she said.
“So I think it’s probably just been an interest in our family, and growing up we’ve always gone to different auctions with Dad, so I think it sort of grew from there.”
