Fans praise Nadia Bartel for ‘real’ Instagram bikini picture

Nadia Bartel made waves over the weekend after posting pictures with her new man, but devoted fans of the former WAG were quick to praise her bikini shot for a different reason.

Nadia Bartel went Insta-official with her new man over the weekend, and while fans were thrilled for her, they were also busy praising her for her “real” bikini photo.

Laying out on the beach at St Kilda the mum of two posted a snap in a bikini and hat with the caption:

“Takeaway margs on the beach yesterday. And yes (before you point it out) I have stretch marks on my thighs and bum and #thisisme I have these ones since I was 14 and got hips, embrace the changes your body goes though and love yourself through it all.”

Her loyal fans were quick to praise her for “setting such a beautiful example” and being “an absolute babe”.

They were also surprised to learn Nadia’s new man isn’t a footy player.

The former WAG endured a messy and very public split with her husband, Brownlow Medallist Jimmy Bartel, last year.

Jimmy quickly moved on with Lauren Mand who he is still with.

Nadia meanwhile has kept her dating cards close to her chest, until now.

The social media influencer and fashionista has taken her friendship with personal trainer,

Nathan Brodie, to the Insta-official dating stage with Nathan posting an Instagram story of the pair soaking up the sun in skimpy swimwear on St Kilda beach on Friday.

Nathan’s post was of Nadia, while the fashion designer posted an insta-story of herself in the same position on the sand displaying her bathers.

Nadia and Nathan have been linked since August, although it wasn’t until September that they were first photographed together working up a sweat doing a lap of Albert Park lake together.

The COVID-19 lockdown seems to have provided cover for this relationship to grow quietly and away from prying eyes.

Buffed up Nathan, who is several years younger than Nadia, does not have a celebrity profile.

But you would tip he is about to get flooded with invites from sly PRs to come along to various events as unwitting media bait.

Nadia said last month that despite her marriage to the Geelong Cats player ending, she had no plans to revert back to her maiden name of Coppolino.

“Right now, I want to have the same name as the boys. I can’t imagine having another surname,” she said.

The couple married in 2014 after six years of dating and share sons Aston, 4, and Henley, 2.

The 35-year-old said she was “heartbroken” when her marriage to Jimmy broke down last year, amid rumours about what caused their split.
