Why Nadia Bartel will keep her married name despite heartbreaking split
After her public marriage breakdown to Jimmy Bartel, speculation has swirled over whether Nadia will change her name— now she’s put the issue to bed.

Nadia Bartel will not to revert to her maiden name following the unexpected and heartbreaking end of her marriage to former AFL star Jimmy Bartel.
The glamour mum to Aston, 4, and Henley, 2, says she will keep the name because of her beloved boys.
Her maiden name was Coppolino.
“Right now, I want to have the same name as the boys. I can’t imagine having another surname,” she says.
“If I didn’t have children it would be a different story. I don’t know what I might do in the future.”
Bartel was enjoying one of her final weekends in the St Kilda West home she once shared with the former Geelong player celebrating the last day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The luxury seaside pad sold for $3.915m three weeks ago.
“I love being at home with the kids. My sister and mum are coming to my house, we’re going to eat and cook lots of food,” she says.
“Aston is really getting into the racing this year. For some reason he loves the number 5 so we’ll be watching horses with number 5.”
Bartel says she’s relishing having time with her family after missing out on so many celebrations during the strict stage 4 lockdown.
“We’re making up for lost time and all the celebrations we weren’t able to have this year. The races is a perfect time for us all to get together,” she says.
