Has fashion entrepreneur and former WAG Nadia Bartel found a new man?
During this heightened time of conspiracy theories, rumour and suspicion even the simple act of going for an innocent jog with a mate can turn — in the snap of a long lens — into a story of a secret new love and a fresh romance blooming in spring.
If only it were true.
Bartel set the internet alight this week after a series of images popped up online of her jogging around Albert Park Lake with a fit-looking young man by the name of Nathan Brodie.
The pair arrived in the same vehicle and completed a sweaty lap together - and bingo, in this day and age for onlookers that was enough to equal romance.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
The pair are friends and have been spotted out running on several occasions in the Albert Park areas on several occasions, but it is understood they are not dating or involved.
Fitness seems to be Brodie’s thing. His Instagram shows him active in any number of sports including skiing, horse riding and water skiing. His great love appears to be a large fluffy samoyed dog.
Meanwhile Bartel has been busy growing her successful Henne fashion label during COVID-19 with the stylish mum of two regularly debuting new cuts and pieces from the brand on her social media.
Bartel has been dedicated to her sons, Aston and Henley since the end of her marriage to former footy player Jimmy Bartel last year.
She has garnered great respect for the dignified way she handled the public interest in their separation and has not been linked to a new partner since the split.
The former couple recently listed their St Kilda West home for sale.
