Kyle Sandilands has warned Melbourne to get ready for something different as he and partner in crime Jackie ‘O’ Henderson finally revealed the date for their Melbourne debut.

The KIIS FM duo will be heard in Melbourne from Monday April 29.

“Let me just warn everyone,’’ Sandilands said on Tuesday morning.

“Doesn’t matter what you’ve heard, and what the newspaper or this person or some other radio station says. We’re not here to change your mind, we’re just going to give you a very different type of radio show.

“I’m not saying the other ones are the worst shows in the world because they’re not. They’ve been great but we just offer something different.”

In true Sandilands style, he then made an analogy to a vagina while describing their The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“It’s like the first time you saw a waxed vagina,’’ he said.

“You were shocked.”

Jackie played along: “At what lay beneath … you’re hiding the best part.”

Kyle: “How many layers are in this vagina? That’s a very bad description, for a single woman that ain’t gonna fly.”

The pair, who moved into their new Sydney studios on Monday, said they were excited to “rip the bandaid off” after months of speculation over when their show would go national.

“Looking forward to finally broadcasting into Melbourne,’’ Jackie said. “We’re excited.”

The pair chatted with Melbourne fill-in host Byron Cooke. Jackie brought up that she went to city hotspot Gimlet during the Australian Open.

“What could I say that would be interesting to you guys,’’ she said.

“Did you have a three way there? Let’s not waste any time,’’ Kyle said.

Sandilands reiterated he isn’t a fan of sport.

“Everyone who loves sports already knows by watching the sport what happened,’’ he said.

“I don’t even think we should have sport on the news — oh last night this team won — everyone that cares knows. What a waste of life. You love sport that’s fine, me, nah.”

In November last year Sandilands and Henderson signed a landmark 10-year deal with ARN worth $200m.
