A heated clash erupted between a celebrity stylist and a model at a popular Melbourne bar after one accused the other of pilfering alcohol from their private booth.

A model celebrating the end of the Melbourne Fashion Festival claims she was verbally attacked by a stylist after inadvertently wandering into his booth at a top city night spot.

Paige Montana De Cinque was at Bar Bambi on Saturday night with some female friends and says they were yelled at and shoved unprovoked by Jamie Azzopardi and told “to move the f--k along”.

“As a model in the industry I thought this behaviour was a disgusting representation,’’ she said.

De Cinque said they were just trying to see their DJ friend but Azzopardi, who uses pronouns they/them, said they run the Festival and pushed them out of the area.

Azzopardi says they were responding with calm after claiming De Cinque and her friends stole a bottle of alcohol from their booth.

“She’d been asked to move about 50 times,’’ Azzopardi said.

“People who know me know I’m not one to be disrespected, especially while I’m celebrating the end of an amazing week that was Fashion Festival.”

De Cinque denied alcohol was taken, saying she didn’t see anyone with a bottle.

“It was someone on a power trip,” she said.

“I just feel people should be exposed for how they treat people.”

The venue was pumping with many top fashionistas and executives from the Festival in attendance, as well as MP Steve Dimopoulos.

Bar owner Nick Russian said it was a busy night and he didn’t see an argument take place.

Azzopardi attended the Fashion Festival each day and styled 127 looks and wore 16 outfits with many Australian designers.

In their daily listing of what they wore, Azzopardi also said they were joined by the likes of Collingwood’s Jack Crisp, athlete Morgan Mitchell, Heartbreak High star Thomas Wilson White and many reality and social media stars.
