Before Jeff Bezos’ Italian wedding caused a stir, a Melbourne power pair tied the knot in their own love-up Venetian nuptials. And from the looks of it, it was a bash to rival the Amazon founder’s.

Melbourne power couple Sarah and Chris Lucas have revealed their stunning Italian wedding pictures for the first time.

On the occasion of their second wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sarah posted a series of special moments from their Venice nuptials with the simple caption ‘Two years today’ and two white love hearts.

Her close friend, Nova host Jack Charles, commented “Bezos who” as Lucas was lavished with compliments by her A-list friends.

There has been a slew of weddings in Italy of late — fellow rich-lister Bella Geminder got married to Jose Falk for a second time in Ravello; Western United soccer player Ben Garrucio wed Jasmine Aiello in Tuscany; young socialite couple James Hachem and Antonia Apostolou tied the knot in Lake Como and a day before the Lucas’ anniversary, billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez said I do in Venice to the tune of $55m.

Sarah, the ex daughter-in-law of rich-lister businessman Solomon Lew, wore a stunning white long sleeve fitted gown draped with lace and a ‘breathtaking’ head to floor veil by Melbourne couturiers J’Aton who she described as masters of their craft.

The creative duo, Jacob Luppino and Anthony Pittorino, paid tribute to their long-time muse on social media.

Fashion queen Sarah and top restaurateur Lucas held their Jewish ceremony and celebrations at the world famous seven star Aman hotel, set along The Grand Canal in Venice, and where Bezos and Sanchez are currently staying.

The wedding was held in the hotel’s ballroom, where George and Amal Clooney also tied the knot.

Prior to the European festivities, Sarah revealed the couple had secretly tied the knot in a civil ceremony at which the mum of two daughters wore a white Saint Laurent gown.
