Nathan Buckley believed to have split from Alex Pike

Nathan Buckley and cosmetic nurse partner Alex Pike are rumoured to have called time on their year-long romance.

Former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckleyand his cosmetic nurse partner Alex Pike are believed to have called it quits.

Rumours began swirling on Sunday that the glamour couple had separated after a year long relationship.

Pike, a mother of three, told the Herald Sun she wasn’t “up to talking about this right now” and was with her family. She has three sons, Spencer, Hudson and Jim.

Buckley, currently starring on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, said on Sunday: “My view is that it’s none of anyone’s business. Alex is an amazing person, a successful business woman and a great mother. Neither her, nor I are defined by our romantic connections.”

The high profile couple have largely kept their romance under wraps, only being seen publicly for the first time last May.

In November Pike revealed to the Herald Sun that she had never felt happier after being empowered by her beauty and body transformation. Just last month she said she and Buckley shared a strong connection.

Pike said she had gone on a “huge personal growth journey” over the past five years and currently works between Melbourne and Albury at her Face by Alex Pike studios.

Buckley has two sons, Jett and Ayce, with his ex-wife Tania. They announced in December 2020 that they had separated after 18 years of marriage and has rarely spoken about his private life since.

Last June Buckley stepped down as Magpies coach after a decade in the role and he will join Fox Footy’s commentary team this year.
