Nathan Buckley’s model girlfriend Alex Pike is kicking goals in work, life and love

One of Melbourne’s most talked about women, Alex Pike, reveals the latest on her relationship with Nathan Buckley, her successful career and future plans.

She has been one of the most talked about women of Melbourne in 2021, but Alex Pike is just getting started.

The partner of former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley runs a successful cosmetic injectables business, is set to launch a wellness and fitness online program in the new year, is formulating her own skin care range, has kickstarted her modelling career after a 17 year break and has accepted her first ambassador role with the Twilight Beach Polo.

The tournament, which will take place on St Kilda beach on February 5, appealed to her love of horses and the outdoors.

She is also kicking goals in her private life with Buckley.

“I am very private about the relationship, but we have a wonderful connection,” she said.

Meanwhile reality TV has already come calling for the entrepreneur and social media sensation, not that she is interested - “absolutely not”.

“I have been asked by one, yes, maybe two (productions),” she confirmed.

“I am really passionate about what I do and I have worked really hard to make a place in the aesthetic industry, so I am really happy to focus on that area.”

At 44, Pike, a mum of three, is just hitting her straps and is shaping up as one of the faces of 2022.

“I feel like I really am just figuring it all out,” Pike said.

“Getting healthy and getting fit in my 40s, which started with doing 75 Hard (a fitness program) in 2019, kickstarted me into feeling good, specifically with long stints of sobriety, walking, being healthy with my diet, and meditation.

“I don’t drink much anymore, I will have one occasionally, but for me feeling good and being healthy is a lifestyle.”

Pike’s modelling career started with the Dolly Covergirl competition in 1990 after which she was signed aged 13 to Chadwick Models in Sydney.

She appeared in magazines such as Girlfriend and Dolly during her teenage years then moved to Giant Models when she relocated to Melbourne in her 20s.

She studied nursing, gaining a qualification as a registered nurse, and was trained in injectables in 2004.

“I was one of the first nurse injectors in Melbourne,” she said.

“I had three years off when I had the babies (her sons) but I have been injecting for 17 years.

“I was originally training in 2004 with Botox and fillers and I have really tried to get better every year. I’ve met and trained with expert injectors in Beverly Hills and London to get my skill set to a higher level.”

She is carving a path with the mantra of getting better with age.

“I really do feel like I am just getting started,” she said.
