Three Collingwood high fliers have drunk from their boots on stage with US country superstar Luke Combs.
Jack Crisp, Brody Mihocek and Beau McCreery joined Combs on stage at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday night to do a “shoey.”
The trio went all in; McCreery slipping off a cowboy boot, Crisp a sneaker and Mihocek a Blundstone type boot before guzzling a drink from them with Combs.
“That was wild! What a night! Shoey on stage with the great man @LukeCombs,” posted Crisp after the centrestage swig.
Combs is something of a Pies fan. He was wearing a Collingwood cap on stage during his show.
He is also keen on a mid-show shoey.
Last week, ultramarathon runner Nedd Brockman did a shoey with Combs on stage in Sydney at what was the first show on his Australian tour.
Collingwood clearly is enjoying Combs’ support with a post on the club’s Instagram page reading “Good to see you repping the black and white once again @lukecombs.”
Meanwhile, the Frontier Touring Instagram posted vision of the shoey, captioning it “Pies swooping in: shoey edition”.
