Melbourne businesswoman and heiress Georgia Danos, nee Geminder, has welcomed her first child with husband Matthew.

Melbourne businesswoman and heiress Georgia Danos, nee Geminder, has welcomed her first child with husband Matthew Danos.

The newlyweds who married in October in the society wedding of the year shared their joy that Charlotte had arrived last Thursday.

“Our baby girl is here,’’ Georgia posted with pink love hearts. “Charlotte Mia Danos.”

Danos, the granddaughter of late business tycoon Richard Pratt, showed her growing baby bump on social media in March.

The former model made the Forbes 30 under 30 list last year after building her own brand, Gem Oral Care, into a force.

She just returned from launching it into the UK in June.

“I’m planning on taking no time off, maybe a couple of weeks when I have the baby,’’ Danos told the Herald Sun in May.

“Gem is my first baby so I want to make sure the business doesn’t get neglected and I really keep my finger on the pulse with the workings of it.

“It’s important to have that balance but I don’t know the ways of motherhood yet. I really love working and working with my team.”

Danos, the daughter of rich-listers Fiona and Raphael Geminder, married investment director Danos at Raheen in Kew.

She has launched Gem into Woolworths and also brought out electric toothbrushes.

“It’s amazing how different social channels really change marketing going forward,’’ she said.

“TikTok have been revolutionary for us. It’s fun and as a small business we have fun and don’t take things too seriously.”
