Q&A

1. Do you think we need a new public secondary school in the Wentworth electorate?

I do think we need a new public secondary school because the age of the population in all metropolitan regions is dynamic which results in young families moving into the areas such as the seat of Wentworth.

2. What are your thoughts on the current rate of development?

Development needs to be regulated regarding dwelling density and height.

3. Do you support the proposed development in the national park at South Head?

I disagree with residential development in metropolitan national parks and recreational parks as parkland is always limited and once lost cannot be regained.

4. Should we make changes to negative gearing?

No because Paul Keating in 1988 stopped negative gearing and had to reinstate is 18 months later due to the lack of new units available for low income rentals.

5. What are the key elements of your tax policy?

To raise the threshold levels of income so that less tax is paid in all tax brackets as well as a uniform 24 per cent company tax.

6. Do you have a stance on corporate political donations?

Yes I do. All donations be it monetary or complimentary need to be made public as politicians are public servants.

7. What is the most important health related issue?

The main health related issue is mental health as it is a medical emergency which results in fatalities as you would find in major accidents.

8. What support should be given to businesses?

Businesses should have a flat income tax rate of 24 per cent and the state governments should be made to stop payroll tax.

9. What emphasis should placed on funding to the arts?

The arts should receive grants in accordance to other public bodies such as sport.

10. How should Australia proceed with regards to immigration?

We should stop all immigration except for South African farmers.

11. Should we change how we process asylum seekers?

We should change the process and fast track all present asylum seekers to be processed in three months.

12. What action should be taken with regard to climate change?

We believe climate change is a scientific fairy tale which lacks rigid scientific scrutiny resulting in a poor level of evidence 1 to 2.

13. Do you support live animal export?

We do support live animal export as it is worth $870,000,000 to our struggling farmers, but need to have animal welfare officers on the ships.

14. Do you think we need to tackle law and order differently?

Yes we do especially from the point of view of totality which means looking at the magnitude of the crime particularly with physical violence in the home.

15. How should we continue to move towards reconciliation with indigenous people?

Reconciliation is a good ideal but our problem with indigenous people involves improving their health and education as well as providing increasing child protection.
