Police are on the hunt for three young men following an unprovoked attack on a 50-year-old man in a suburban playground on Sunday.

The male victim was allegedly struck and kicked several times by the trio at Harrington Park’s Hambledon Circuit playground at 8.50pm.
The male victim sustained a number of injuries and was later admitted to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating a series of other incidents in relation to the assault, including an attempted armed robbery.
It is understood the group of young men, described as in their teens or early 20s, had been loitering in Harrington Park for a number of hours in the lead-up to the assault.
Police are appealing for public assistance, including witnesses and dashcam footage in the Harrington Park area — particularly in the vicinity of The Northern Rd, Fairwater Drive, Harrington Parkway and Sir Warwick Fairfax Drive, from 7pm until 9pm on Sunday.
