IT’S not often you hear a celebrity say they’re grateful to have the paparazzi in their life, but Roxy Jacenkois under no illusions they have helped her remain relevant in a fickle, image-obsessed world.
Stalked daily by up to half a dozen snappers, PR queen Jacenko says the paps have become such a regular part of her life that daughter Pixie, 6, now knows them all by name.
“So many people have nasty things to say about the paparazzi,” Jacenko told Confidential, “but if it wasn’t for images being circulated, I would have no relevance. There’d be no stories.
“If you choose that life of being out there, you have to accept what comes with it. I’ve even had a story about a camel toe and I thought I looked lovely in those Lorna Jane leggings.”
Admitting she is headline-worthy perhaps because “people love a trainwreck”, no doubt the paparazzi will be hungrier than ever to get a snap of Jacenko’s newly pink locks, which she exclusively revealed to Confidential yesterday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
