AUSTRALIA’S most famous publicist Roxy Jacenko is engaged — again.
The 37-year-old was surprised on Friday with a second proposal from husband Oliver Curtis, just weeks after the investment banker was released from jail for insider trading.
It is understood Curtis, 31, instructed Jacenko’s staff to escort her to Sydney’s Four Seasons Hotel. Once she arrived she was taken to the penthouse suite, where balloon letters spelt out “Marry Me? Again!”
Curtis then presented her with a Nicholas Haywood engagement ring, estimated to be around 6.5 carats.
According to online diamond retailer Blue Nile, a diamond of this size could cost more than $400,000.
The proposal took place the day after Jacenko’s new Paddington headquarters of businesses Sweaty Betty and Ministry Of Talent was pelted with paint-filled eggs by vandals.
Sharing the occasion with her 181,000 Instagram followers, an activewear-clad Jacenko said: “When you smell like a rotten egg from cleaning your building facade all day and open the door to ...”
The couple were later spotted enjoying dinner at fine-dining restaurant est.
Jacenko was seen proudly wearing her new sparkler yesterday as she ran errands.
The gesture seemingly puts to end months of speculation about whether Jacenko would remain with Curtis, who she wed the first time in 2012.
Eight weeks before his release, Jacenko was spotted kissing ex-boyfriend Nabil Gazal at his apartment.
But since Curtis left Cooma jail on June 23, the pair — who have two little Instagram star children, Pixie, 5, and Hunter, 3 — have maintained a united front.
