MODEL Jesinta Campbell is no stranger to sweating her way to health, beauty and fitness, but even this latest event represented another step up.
New David Jones ambassador Jesinta Campbell was baring the results of a tough pre-show workout regimen today, strutting down the runway in a cheek-flashing swimsuit by Bec & Bridge and an activewear ensemble which highlighted her sculpted arms and whittled-down waist – the result of months of Pilates, boxing and limited carbohydrates.
Nearly a year ago to the day, Jesinta told the Daily Telegraph how she had been sparring with one of Australia’s toughest female boxers in a bid to put a razor-sharp edge to her look.

A week earlier, she had shown a well-chiselled set of abs earned through a combination of gruelling boxing sessions with Lauryn Eagle, yoga, Pilates, ballet and jogging along with beach walks.
There there were the 150 push-ups every morning.

Campbell was driving from her home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs to train in the Shire with Eagle, who she met at a modelling function three years ago, one day each week.
“I seek to improve every week and that helps me stay motivated,” she said.
“Lauryn is an elite athlete, she trains hard herself and it’s been an amazing experience for me to be able to see all the work she puts in to her own sessions.”
Campbell had been unsure about how last August’s DJs parade would pan out for her.
“I’ve been so nervous about getting on the runway because its a 360-view with everyone so close,” Campbell said.
“On fashion shoots there is manipulation with lighting and make-up but it is much more intimidating to be next to all these great Ambassadors,” Campbell said.
The stunning ex-beauty queen started the 45-minute workouts three months ago when she found about the David Jones gig and immediately cut out alcohol.
“My last major parade was for Miss Universe and that was five years ago so it’s been a while since I’ve been on the runway,” she told Sydney Confidential last year.
