After the controversial online catfight between radio star Kate Langbroek and TV presenter Jesinta Campbell, it seems the model is still fired up over Kate’s now famous fashion dig.
It comes after a tense social media attack between the pair, when Kate took a swipe at Jesinta’s see-through Camilla and Marc Logies dress.
“This cannot be for real,” Kate said alongside a picture of the ensemble which she then hash tagged #desperate. Unleashing the claws back, Jesinta responded with “Woah, nasty @katelangbroek. Hope you enjoyed watching and critiquing from your couch last night”.
While Kate did apologise saying “that does sound mean. Sorry, your bum was the first thing I saw” – Jesinta has spoken out about her fashion choices in a lengthy Instagram post which is sidelined with a picture of her unique Logies dress.
The star started her opinion piece off with a quote from fashion designer Tala Raassi.
“I want to empower women to follow their dreams, I want to empower them to wear what they desire and not to be judged or punished” she quoted, going on to say that Tala, who is from Iran and faced cultural limitations around what she could wear, is her fashion inspiration.
“From the day I met Tala my lack of thought and care for fashion grew into a strong passion. I am proud to work in the fashion industry and promote self expression and freedom of choice” Jesinta said.
“Every day that I get I up I am grateful that I can chose whatever the hell I want to wear without the fear of punishment or violence or imprisonment,” she added.
