JESINTA Campbell’s ripped stomach was the talk of the catwalk last year. This year she has added pilates to stretch herself into even more impressive shape.

The 24-year-old model, who is gearing up to walk in David Jones’ spring/summer shows on Wednesday night, admitted she feels the pressure when it comes to thousands of people staring at her in a bikini.

“I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t get nervous before the show. But the pressure mainly comes from myself,” she said.

But her impressive fitness regimen and new-found pilates focus has helped her to fight the fear and get in the best shape possible.

“I’ve always had pilates in my workout regimen but just recently I’ve started doing it five times a week,” she said.

“It’s really helped with my flexibility and toning.”

Campbell also focuses on her diet to be in top form. “About a month out from the DJs show, I always amp it up a little bit — I put more cardio in, do more pilates sessions and make sure that my diet is really clean so my body is at its best.

“I get rid of refined sugars and alcohol and drink lots of water,” she said.

Campbell says that while pilates has always been a part of her exercise she is now doing five sessions a week.
