Did Trump just give away Game Of Throne ending and change the books?

Donald Trump’s win may have revealed the ending for Game of Thrones and will certainly change the tone of the last two books.

DONALD Trump may have given away the ending of Game Of Thrones with his surprise election win.

And, even if he didn’t, he is almost certainly going to change the tone and action in the final two books of the series.

Many Americans were deeply upset over Hillary Clinton losing, among them Game of Thrones writer George RR Martin.

In a blog post eloquently titled “President Pussygrabber”, he told readers: “Winter is coming. I told you so.”

Donald Trump has spawned plenty of Game of Thrones memes.
Donald Trump has spawned plenty of Game of Thrones memes.

Slamming Trump as “the worst president in American history”, he made it clear that Clinton was much more deserving and putting his location as the “Slough of Despond” showed he was gutted by the result.

By itself that is interesting, and amusing, although it has been reported elsewhere.

But does it reveal the ending for Game Of Thrones? Or will it indeed change the ending (at least of the books).

Bear in mind that Martin is still writing book six, Winds of Winter, and book seven is unlikely to hit the stands until President Trump’s first four-year term is consigned to history.

Martin has previously said the ending will be “bittersweet”, suggesting at least one of our favourites will die in the victory over the White Walkers.

You could put Daenerys in the place of Hillary (although Dany would have fried Bill’s wedding tackle in dragon flames if that were so) and Trump as the Night King.

Donald Trump channels the Night King.

Given Martin’s gut reaction to the election, it’s obvious he doesn’t want Trump (the Night King) to win.

That much is obvious but will the political situation change his plans for writing?

Obviously Martin has planned out the rest of the series, whether it be seven or eight books, as previously speculated.

But planning and writing are two different things, as his long-suffering fans know only too well.

A writer’s emotions and feelings can see the story change as they put the ending together.

Martin has no control over America but he has ultimate control over Westeros. Will he rewrite his planned ending to reflect his hatred for President Pussygrabber?

Despite the TV series being accused of only featuring naked women, and of inciting violence towards women, the story is actually very pro-women.

Daenerys, Cersei, Yara, Olenna, Ellaria, Sansa and of course Arya are all powerful women shaping the world around them.

Could Martin bring himself to have them defeated by the Westeros equivalent of President Pussygrabber?

And could this be a reprieve for Daenerys?

It has been widely speculated that she will die in the victory, as she brings about her oft-stated aim of ending the “Game of Thrones” played by the great Houses.

Will he change Dany’s destiny because he’s so angry about President Pussygrabber?

Or will he have the Night King and other baddies unleash even more pain upon Westeros, as he mirrors what Trump may or may not do to America?

How would Donald Trump go on the Iron Throne?
How would Donald Trump go on the Iron Throne?

Either way, this is unlikely to change the TV series much, as that is locked in for its final two series.

Or will it ...
