Natal Jimma is a reporter with the Fraser Coast Chronicle with keen interests in council, development and court reporting. Natal moved to Australia in 2003 as a refugee and has dedicated himself to becoming the best media professional possible. He holds an Associate Degree of Arts in Creative Writing from Southern Cross University, a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Radio from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). Natal worked for the ABC for 12 months as an intern in 2019 to 2021, he speaks multiple languages including Bari, Swahili and Arabic.
