The menu teams classic Japanese with quirkier additions such as arabiki hotdogs with jalapenos. Fusion is a tricky thing to get right, so perhaps the risotto would be best left to the Italians, but a moreish wagyu beef curry more than makes up for it. An eclectic mix of furniture adds to the underground club feel, and if you’re keen to take in a Saturday jazz performance, be sure to book.
