Gas hopeful Tamboran pitches Trump on $8b outback data centre plan
Washington | Tamboran Resources, the ASX-listed gas developer which is backed by a company chaired by the incoming US energy secretary, has asked the Trump administration to invest $US5 billion ($8 billion) in a data centre project to be used for defence and at operations such as Pine Gap.
Tamboran chief executive Joel Riddle flew to Washington this week to meet with the administration, government agencies and data centre investors and pitch the proposal for a data centre powered by the company’s Beetaloo Basin gas reserves.
