Cybertruck bomber said he wanted stunt to be ‘wake up call’ for US

The special forces sergeant who drove the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel left a note saying he wanted the stunt to serve as a “wake-up call” for the country’s ills.

Matthew Livelsberger, 37, a highly decorated counter-terrorism Green Beret soldier, said it was “not a terrorist attack” and he needed to “cleanse my mind” of the lives lost of people he knew and “the burden of the lives I took”.
