Washington | Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth says the United States used misdirection and stealth to conduct precision strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities that seemed to catch the Islamic Republic off guard.

Proudly stating that “American deterrence is back”, Hegseth used a Sunday morning press conference in Washington to detail how US B-2 bombers were able to enter Iranian airspace and drop huge bunker-busting bombs on the nuclear facilities of Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz in the dead of night.
