London | UK economic output failed to grow in the third quarter, official figures showed, adding to the signs of a slowdown at the start of the government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The Office for National Statistics on Monday (Tuesday AEDT) lowered its estimate for the change in gross domestic product output to 0.0 per cent in the July-to-September period, down from a previous estimate of 0.1 per cent growth.
