Woolworths scrambles to restock shelves after strike ends

Major Woolworths distribution centres are set to reopen after the supermarket giant struck a union deal to end a long-running warehouse worker strike that left shelves bare of staple items and cost the company at least $50 million.
A group of picketers had blocked access to the Dandenong centre in Melbourne’s south-east on Saturday morning, but the deal meant operations could resume later on the weekend.
