Union delegates should get free iPads from bosses: CFMEU

Employers are protesting against a union push that would require all employers in the construction industry to give every union delegate an iPad as part of new suite of minimum rights enabled by Labor’s workplace reforms.

The Construction Forestry Maritime Employees Union has proposed that the building industry award should entitle each delegate on site to an iPad with internet access, a phone, a filing cabinet, table and chairs and a private lockable area.
