Employers are ramping up their parenting policies to attract and retain staff in a tight labour market. Here are some of the best perks on offer.

An expansion of taxpayer-funded paid parental leave from 20 weeks to 26 weeks will be one of the Labor government’s key economic reforms, according to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who made the announcement in October.
It follows the government’s jobs summit, where experts urged the government to reduce the cost of childcare and extend and reconfigure its paid parental leave schemes.
