Sexual harassment is a human issue - it’s time to stamp it out

We must accept that sexual harassment has persisted in workplaces, not because of ‘a few bad apples’, but because our systems do not prevent it. And there’s now a massive opportunity for change.

Sexual harassment is not a political issue. It’s a human issue.

We have heard the voices of thousands of women marching for justice and the stories from the highest levels across the country. The national inquiry, Respect@Work has told us how pervasive this issue is. And as a nation we are rightly focussed on it given the devastating personal and professional toll, the harm and pain experienced by countless women for too long.
