Skinny-dipping professor wins job back

A maths professor who was fired after he went skinny-dipping with a student and kissed her in a “fully consensual” encounter has won his job back and six months’ backpay.

The Fair Work Commission ruled that the Australian National University unfairly sacked associate professor Scott Morrison, after finding its policy did not ban staff from having consensual relationships with students and that “poor judgment” was not a valid reason for dismissal.
