Schools face negligence risk from staying open

Schools and childcare centres risk being sued if they stay open and require staff to do face-to-face teaching during the coronavirus outbreak, a senior lawyer has warned.

Unions have also raised the negligence risk with schools after facing increasing concerns from teachers about their health and safety in attending school when many workforces have been sent home to work.
