Sacked fundie sues UniSuper and CIO for alleged bullying

A former investment manager at $129 billion industry super giant UniSuper alleges his boss, longstanding chief investment officer John Pearce, bullied and threatened his job while he worked at the fund and ultimately illegally sacked him.
Matthew Hook claimed Mr Pearce told him to “smarten up your attitude or you’re out” and that he would “be pleased to see him go” in a series of conversations in March 2022.
