High-profile businessman Sir Rod Eddington has joined the growing chorus of business heavyweights urging Melbourne to join Sydney in a return to the city and offices from March 1, following the arrival of international visitors.

NAB CEO Ross McEwan broke cover last Friday to urge state governments to “get people back to the office” as he complained that while the nightclubs are jammed with people without masks, health authorities claim it is still not safe to return to the office.
