Patrick industrial blitz sees MUA extend 'dragnet' across ports

More than 1000 wharfies are set to take indefinite industrial action at Patrick stevedore terminals across the country, including banning work on any ships that stevedores outsource to each other to offset the effect of strikes.

The Maritime Union of Australia has notified Patrick of a 24-hour strike, indefinite overtime bans and rolling one-hour stoppages starting on Friday after accusing the stevedore of seeking to wind back 20 years of conditions.
