No comment: DEI debate too controversial for corporate Australia

The debate over the future of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives appears too hot to touch for corporate Australia, with just four out of 20 top ASX-listed companies providing on-the-record comments to questions from The Australian Financial Review.

The Financial Review asked all ASX 20 companies whether they had experienced increased employee opposition to DEI programs over the past six to 12 months and, if so, whether they had scaled back, adjusted, or further committed to these initiatives.
