Yellow Brick Road’s executive chairman Mark Bouris has acquired a major stake in the Club of United Business (CUB) as it takes advantage of the demise of exclusive, male-only clubs.

The move comes as famous international celebrity private members club Soho House pushes ahead with plans to open in Australia as it fights local objections to a $12.5 million transformation of a South Yarra mansion known as Poolman House.
